To obtain a Michigan real estate salesperson’s license, an applicant must complete 40 hours of real estate fundamentals coursework through a state approved agency. The Michigan Association of REALTORS® provides a list of approved course providers at Choose a location for taking the exam and pay the tuition requirement. This course is provided at various times throughout the year. Once you’ve completed the required 40 hours coursework, you may take the state licensing exam. This exam is provided through PSI Services, LLC; you can take it at one the approved test sites.
